Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division has promoted Robin Berry McCord to operational marketing manager. June 13, 2005, Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division has promoted Robin Berry McCord to operational marketing manager. McCord brings more than 18 years experience in sales and marketing to her position. As operational marketing manager, she oversees the day-to-day operation of Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division's marketing initiatives for all of the company's communities in Horry and Georgetown Counties, S.C., and Brunswick County, N.C. McCord first joined Centex Homes in June 2004 when she became the lifestyle director for Barefoot Resort & Golf. In that position she was responsible for organizing and overseeing all social activities for Barefoot Resort residents, as well as designing and producing the resort's monthly newsletter and maintaining all elements of the community's Web site. She was soon promoted to regional lifestyle manager and charged with supervising lifestyle directors at other Centex Homes Myrtle Beach Division communities. Prior to joining Centex Homes, McCord served as sales and marketing director for the MCI Heritage Classic, a PGA TOUR event headquartered in Hilton Head Island, S.C., from 1998 to 2001.
